On this trail, you can find majestic specimens of Honduran mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla). At the highest point of the trail, you will find a viewpoint with a natural window through the forest that allows you to see over Panama City towards the Pacific Ocean. Some parts of the trail have steep slopes and can become slippery when it rains.
