PROCEDURE FOR REQUESTING PERMISSION TO CONDUCT RESEARCH
FIRST STAGE
Send a letter to the Directorate General containing the name of the investigation and the principal investigator, and the project’s time period.
Attach the following to the letter: The “Mi Ambiente”(my environment) form containing the research protocol, and the principal investigator’s and any assistants’ resumes.
NOTE: IF THE RESEARCH IS A FOLLOW-UP OF A PRIOR INVESTIGATION YOU MUST SEND A SUMMARY OF PHASE 1 OF THE COMPLETED INVESTIGATION.
SECOND STAGE
Submit the permit issued to the researcher by the Ministry of the Environment to the Directorate General for the Metropolitan Natural Park.
The aforementioned permit must be accompanied by a photo of the principal investigator and any assistants (copies of passports or other identification will not be accepted), as well as details of the work schedule and research area coordinates.
THIRD STAGE
