The area known as the “Lagunita Jicotea”⁠- or Little Turtle Lagoon – was originally a little pool of water, which expanded into a small lagoon where animals from all over the conservation area would come to drink.

Currently in the lagoon, you can see small fish, turtles, tilapia and other species.
