The Metropolitan Natural Park (Parque Natural Metropolitano, or PNM) is the only city-based natural park in Latin America, spread over more than 232 hectares of both dry and humid tropical forests, the former now extinct in 75% of the country.

MISSION

As an organization, we are committed to the laws that guide us, with defined strategies and objectives for the conservation of natural resources, biodiversity, and social participation in a protected area.

VISSION

We are a conservation unit with a leadership structure characterized by shared management responsibilities, recognized at both a national and international level.
